Teton Science Schools have been teaching about the natural world and the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem since 1967. The organization has educated, trained and inspired thousands of children, youth and adults, bringing them together through the study of nature and its extension, place-based education. Six innovative programs serve students from across Wyoming, the Intermountain West, the nation and around the world.
Founded over 50 years ago by collector Slim Lawrence and entrepreneur Homer Richards, the Jackson Hole Historical Society & Museum is a place where the Old West is still alive. Our exhibits capture the spirit and the culture of the early days of Jackson Hole, Grand Teton and the Yellowstone region, featuring an outstanding collection of American Indian artifacts, as well as fur trade era tools and firearms, and items from the ranching and pioneer settlement era.
The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce represents a cohesive community that works for all- quality jobs, vibrant commerce, stable families and treasured natural resources. The Chamber intends to work together as a community to take action to meet four challenges: sustainable business, housing, transportation, and a balanced multiple use approach to conservation of natural resources.
