Teton Science Schools are Base Camp for The Children’s Grand Adventure
Since 1967, Teton Science Schools have offered quality educational programming in Grand Teton National Park, utilizing the wild lands of Yellowstone National Park, Bridger-Teton National Forest and National Elk Refuge. Across more than four decades, the nonprofit school has achieved its mission of training and inspiring students of all ages – connecting people, nature, place and education.
The school’s Jackson Campus serves as food-and-lodging base for The Children’s Grand Adventure. All Jackson Campus buildings were designed from a green perspective, using high-performance materials with low-level organic compounds and using minimal resources. Natural lighting and innovation in space design have resulted in an environment that benefits all who live, work and visit here.
Similarly, Teton Science Schools’ Kelly Campus in Grand Teton National Park is home for the Graduate Student Program and a selection of residential education programs for youth. The new 900-acre Jackson Campus is home to the pre-K through 12th grade Journey’s School, the Teacher Learning Center, the Conservation Research Center and an array of residential education programs for school groups, families and seniors
